Ahmaud Arbery wasn't out jogging.

Well, I know it sucks he died. It may not be good or moral that the law is as it is. But you should first understand that it is possible that they had the right. I’m not applying any judgements here on if they are guilty or not, I’m just filling you in.

You should also erase the idea of them meting out justice on their own (without further evidence and all). From what is understood, they were trying to arrest him, which they might’ve had the right to. Then Ahmaud charged them, and they had a right to defend themselves using lethal force in response.

(As a sidepoint, I’ve heard some people saying that there might’ve been a shot prior to his charging them, which might make this much clearer and make the father and son more obviously guilty).

So whether or not they had the right depends on if Ahmaud was committing a felony or a misdemeanour, and if they actually knew that or if they were just going out lynching.

I know it sucks, and personally I’m just waiting for more info to come out until I make a personal judgement.
