Air Fork Help

Your issue isn't necessarily air vs coil as it is just spring rate and high speed compression damping.

Higher spring rate and more high speed compression damping = more bottom out resistance.

If you can find coil springs for the Judy with a stiffer spring rate, it'll be a decent fix to hold you over till you get a bike more suited to your riding style as long as you don't mind a stiffer linear spring rate.

A 1-1/8 straight steerer air fork will be much more expensive but will give you the flexibility of more travel and adjusting the spring rate and bottom out resistance easily with air pressure and volume, in addition to offering a bit extra bottom out resistance due to air springs offering a progressive rate.
