I only ever wanted one puppy from the litter. We had assumed it would be easier to get rid of the others. Yes, I still adore mom and dad. TBH I adore all of them and they are well cared for. They simply aren't well socialised and I am aware that this is something that can be improved on given time and patience. However, part of my stress stems from all of the pressure to train and socialise them being put on me. Also, I went into this knowing I only wanted one (as a replacement for my 11 YO male). My husband grew to want all of them and I allowed him to talk me down when I tried to get rid of them. I hope this clarifies some things. However, he has rarely (if at all) helped me train them.
