OP never had a discussion with this woman about what would happen in the case of an unplanned pregnancy. He never say down with her and said "if you get pregnant, I refuse to have anything to do with the child and I refuse to pay for it. I would want you to get an abortion" and she never said "okay, I understand and accept that". This conversation is something that should have happened before he ever put his penis inside her, NOT after the pregnancy already happened. OP's inability to clearly communicate about such a lifechanging issue is what makes him an asshole in my mind. You don't think he's an asshole for sticking his penis inside a woman who he had never discussed contingency plans with, and then refusing to deal with the consequences?
