every single appointment that is due to her obesity (of which there will be plenty) could have been avoided. every single such appointment she goes to means that the care of those who did not eat themselves one foot into the grave will be delayed, as OP and others like her will have to be seen first.

It absolutely does, if not today then in a month or a year, and OP is not the only one that is obese.

OP and others like her are the single largest burden on healthcare in every country on the planet, even the pandemic is driven almost exclusively by them because although covid can infect anyone, it the people who it really fucks up are obese people, who surprise surprise are an absolutely huge (pun not intended) population of people. you significantly underestimate just how bad being fat is for your health, it can, will and does fuck you up - its not a question of IF it will fuck you up, it is only a question of when.
