AITA for being upset about my parents lying about a photography job?

That sucks. If you had the money you could have made a better website. Your Wix site has no menu and you can't navigate between pages, from the pages. Hitting back to get to the front page isn't good, at least put a home page link in the logo. Also having the gallery link go to a different web site with another name is going to confuse the hell out of potential clients especially if the first button on the menu on the Smugmug site shows them a portfolio of anything but motorsport and then the IG links to another name again and isn't reachable.

Bonus hint, all your social media should direct clients to your website, not the website directing to your socials.

Keep them separate. Use the Wix for business and the Smugmug for personal . It's better to have your name as the domain name, unless your company employs several people, and strengthen your personal brand. You can still do business through the company once the client has engaged with you through your work. You do really good work, promote it and present it well and clients will come and you will make up for that $300 in no time.
