AITA for calling off a 1st date because he ‘dropped in’ at the last minute his son would be there?

Big red flag that he would bring his 12 year old on a FIRST DATE

Alternative, he's probably dealt with a lot of people who want to get rid of the kid. My husband was a single parent, and multiple women tried to get him to not see his son or have a really negative attitude towards kids, being upfront about his kid and how much of a priority was a really good filter for the kind of person he would be willing to have in his life. This man has decided that a date would just be a casual meetup at a park with his kid scooting around, that is who he is.

Do I think its weird, yes a little but it also assume its normal for him to socialise with his kid in tow and the kid wouldnt know if its a friend or a date or even really care.
