I find it interesting that you say they can have whatever they want. I distinctly recall two AITA posts about eating strong-smelling food in the workplace and both times everyone said it's a social taboo.

Many of those were about fish, but I recall one being about kimchi. Every time the OP's were told to leave the smelly food at home.

I don't have a strong opinion either way (don't care much honestly), but find it interesting how differently this subreddit responds to almost identical situations.

Would you agree with the judgments in the other posts and if yes, what is your reasoning for the difference in this one? Or do you entirely disagree with the others?
