Children are not expected to bury their parents while they're still children.

But welcome to the real world where that happens. The older the people get the more likely they will die.

Are you serious about the hate for children comment? Are you new here? A child seriously needs to screw up here for the r/AITA to turn on them.

And what's the the personal attack? Are you against people being able to look at things from different perspectives? And how is me finding it completely inappropriate to throw a cake on the floor and stomping it would make me a bad parent? So as a parent you find that behavior ever appropriate?
