I’m not saying the unsupportive parents won’t make matters worse, nothing is worse then a child who has to constantly see their parents arguing and fighting. He’s an asshole and I should of put ESH instead of YTA because while he may be in denial and hoping it’s not true OP is not giving him the chance to have an open mind and have the chance of him hearing and understanding what’s really happening to his child via a professional, she even went out of her way to spite him saying she is taking their child to the professional without informing him when they’d have news. If he listened to what the doctor said he might understand and help his child more and be more supportive which would be better for the child in the end.
