AITA for expecting clients to give holiday bonuses?

I don't think people realize how little a solitary cleaning lady makes though after all is said and done. I pay for all of the supplies I bring my own vacuum and mop which I pay for when they break. I have to pay 30% for my taxes and I have to keep my rates competitive to companies like Merry maids. In the end I might make $2 an hour more than one of their housekeepers and I do a better job

It's not a lucrative business. But I do enjoy what I do and it gives me satisfaction that my clients do appreciate me. Never have I worked anywhere where people say how much they value my service. I just wanted to make that clear. I'm not making a bunch of money and getting to keep it all. I feel like people here have that impression.

Whole point was that I'm sad and disappointed that I didn't at least get something like cookies or "Merry Christmas" from some of my clients, tips aren't always cash
