AITA for falling asleep after I just answered no to "Are you gonna sleep some more?" (Read description for more details)

Yes, usually the strategy I outlined above is certainly NOT worth the risk!

But... sometimes it is... if you want to see where you stand and how important you are to the other person.

For example, if a girl really-really-loves you, and has a good sense of humor (which implies you might have fun life together!) then she'll probably stop being so mad, and chuckle at least a little bit after receiving a message like that from you.

She might, for example, counter with a comedic-passive-aggressive response of her own, to the effect of:

"Ok, ok... I'm still a bit mad at you, but I'll have to try to forgive you since you just don't seem to have the amazing genetics I do!"

Or... she might actually never call you again.

If she drops you, just because of a comedic message like that after an argument... then whelp...

That actually tells you 2 things:

1) She's got a very bad sense of humor!

2) She probably doesn't care and love you all that much anymore.

Which is extremely painful to learn and realize... but hey: it happens to all of us in relationships, including even celebrities like Brad Pitt who get dumped by women who don't love them anymore! So... it hurts, but you're not alone: c'est la vie.

One way or another, eventually, you'll have to toss out some kind of psychological test or another, to determine if you want to devote your life to someone.

So may as well do it with humor.
