AITA for falsely accusing a veteran of stolen valor, when she couldn't give any details about her service?

That is not necessarily true. If I am going home and need to stop at the grocery store, Shoppers Drug Mart, Home Depot and Walmart - I totally can. And if I work shift work and it is a Saturday/Sunday or a holiday, same thing. I have even met my family for dinner on the way home from work because it was on the way and I wasn’t going all the way home to get changed, just to drive all the way back. I have been in uniform for hours after getting off shift in public - not JUST after.

Now we can’t just go to a funeral, wedding or an event in our uniform without prior approval. An example - if it isn’t military appreciation at the Jay’s game, we just can’t show up in our combats.
