AITA for firing employee of 20+ years for calling my niece "Princess"

I have employees who have worked almost as long as Belladonna. They make good money, heck one is even a partner with me. And all of them have shown through hard work, seeking out addition education, and mentoring their co-workers that they have the drive to be in their positions.

Belladonna has to be ridden to get her to do anything. If you don't check in with her twice a day she will sit around waiting until the last minute to call someone. She never offers to help people when they ask for help and when told that the qualities we look for in a manager is someone who takes initiative, who helps, who guides, and who speaks with patience... she didn't take that into consideration.

I did not feel she was an asset. If she was, those days are long gone.
