Parenting a child with autism is incredibly hard and tonne consuming. As well as the fact that seeking professional help can only do so much, especially since reach diagnosis of autism is so different to another. The father may not be used to being out with his child without his mothr possibly, his father may have had a very tiring day with his son, there are so many things that you dont know. Do you think parents automatically know how to parent a child with autism? No, and it is much harder than parenting a child without mental or physical illnesses typically.

Yes the father shouldve said im sorry, he doesnt know right from wrong, or he didn't understand that was wrong. We dont know how old the child is either. The person is totally NTA, however, such a quick and strong reaction may show underlying problems?
