NTA. You’re allowed to find a dialect annoying. I’m from Baltimore, and the Baltimore accent in particular is one of the ugliest white trash accents in the country.

Still, this is probably something you should keep to yourself socially.

What’s more annoying, imo, is classes teaching Ebonics. I have a close family friend who’s a former educator, and she described having to teach a unit of Ebonics to an elementary school class. I shit you not, this is a word-for-word sentence she wrote on the board. Not sure about spelling.
