AITA For leaving our daughter without money or anywhere to live?

I fail to see how living with parents means you fail at adulting, most other cultures have multi-generational housing. Aside from carpooling when viable to save money on transportation I life at home and am completely dependent, I pay a bit below market rent because I'm expected to help repair the house (While a Landlord does that shit or gets fined heavily if the courts aren't back logged from slum lords).

Bills? Pay my share

Food? Buy and cook my own

House work? Do my share

Appliance breaks? I fix it

Work/schooling? With my current degree I have to work the equivalent of a full time job for large sections (work placement in the field).

Like shit, living at home doesn't make you a child, it makes you someone who'd rather pay your folks around market rent than some slum lord who ignores that the roof leaks causing your house to be filled with black mold which ends up hospitalizing you and using up all your sick leave. (Yay a government that allows slumlords)
