AITA for letting my friendly dog off-leash in a tiny park?

As someone who works with foster animals who have all sorts of behavioral issues that can only be worked on by going outside and training. I gotta say, OP gets a full YTA not just a gentle one. It is so so so inconsiderate, dangerous and irresponsible to just break leash rules “because my dog is just friendly”. These owners let their dogs get in other dogs faces without considering how leash reactive dogs (which is virtually every single foster dog I’ve had) will react. Not to mention people with dog phobias who don’t want to meet their dog.

OP didn’t do this, but these owners also typically don’t like being asked to leash their dog in person either which makes the situation all the more frustrating
