AITA for not eating pasta that my boyfriend spent four hours making?

ESH

I don't mean to dismiss your aversion to pork. My boyfriend feels the exact same way as you and refuses to eat it normally. However, when you mix minced pork with minced beef and put it in a sauce, you literally can't taste it. My mother makes her bolognese this exact way all from scratch and my boyfriend always eats it without issue, knowing that there's pork in it, because it doesn't taste like pork to him. Your BF is an obvious dick for the way he handled it and for not being sensitive, but you didn't even try it. He's right that it tastes different without the pork, but it also tastes much different to pork alone. You also could have eaten the pasta and pushed the meat aside as a compromise honestly because the pasta and sauce won't taste like pork, it will taste like pasta and sauce. You're both adults, have some tact.
