AITA for not ‘supporting’ the LGBTQ community?

Tbh, the situation of Jews in nazi Germany was much more dire than gays today, i honestly think its abhorrent that you would even compare the two. Go to the middle East right now and find me the mass concentration camps, show my the complicity of the wider world in keeping quiet about their persecution, fact of the matter is back then there were no conventions on the right of asylum seekers and or refugees, there are now and a lot of gays have access to them. That being said, right now there isn't a whole lot she can do, its a theocracy of Islam and Islamic rules in that country do not tolerate gays, however she can donate to lgbt organisations and the like.

Also many Jews were turned away, even by the allies while the seeked refuge, and some middle Eastern nations had been complicit in doing so as well (remember this was before the formation of the state of Israel). The jews are going through a much tougher time than gays today, especially considering they (gay people) are in many roles kf government today and even have parades and rainbow converted merchandise, find me something like that back in the day.

This doesn't mean we shouldn't support LGBT people, in fact we should, but I don't agree with comparing it to the abhorrent hell that was tolerated around the time of the jews, thats being dishonest
