AITA for punishing my under-aged daughter for going on Tinder?

Just here to point to point out that tinder has an underage feature, that when you are under 18 you aren't displayed to anyone over 18. So it's a dating app for those who aren't 18 to save them from the possible problems facing an underage person. ( But op is unclear which one she was on)

It's like two separate apps within it, so by saying tinder is a dating site for adults your going a bit off the mark.

Along with ( it's been a long time since I've been on tinder) but from what I remember you can't even send photos through the app anymore.

And just to add to the point at 16 most people were probably doing alot worse than just being on tinder. You most likely were out hanging out with friends and flirting a bit, if not more ( at the least) but now tinder is just the modern day stream lined version .

I'm not making a judgement on the punishment because that every patents own decision but I think there's alot of misconceptions in these comments that should be cleared up.
