AITA for refusing to change my niece's nappy?

Infant humans, unlike dogs, required near constant effort for the first several years of their lives. New parents sleep deprivation is like finals week every day for 18 months.

As a result, the species usually chips in because most of us realize that a new child is an amazing amount of work and moms are real hero's to try to do it.

What's more, sitting in your own shit and piss really sucks, for anyone. Changing a diaper makes the area smell better, prevents skin breakdown, only takes you a minute of your time, helps prevent infection, makes a happier baby with less crying, and is really nice.

I hope you learn to be a bigger and more mature/less selfish human being in the future, and stop begrudging a moment's work.
