AITA for refusing to hide my religion for my daughter and her in-laws to be?

NTA, 100%.

I am also Hindu, born and raised in Canada. In Hinduis, it's not a crime to convert to another religion becauser we believe there is only one God/creator, but different regions of the world just have different names. Whatever. We're all God's children.

BUT your daughter 1) lied to her bf. 2) lied to her bf's family and there will be consequences.

She is asking you to carry on her LIE / FRAUD for her, so she doesn't have to face any consequences.

Don't. However this plays out, it will be entirely on her. She wasn't wrong for converting or hiding her original religion. She is wrong for LYING to people.

This is all on her.
