UPDATE:

I did talk to her and she's fine, she did tell me that my timing is bad but what I said is definitely something that must be taken into consideration, and she even thought it's brave of me to open up to such topic since people tend to beat around the bush when it comes to sensitive topics.

and since people really like to assume, here are some clarifications:

-Yes, I did get her a gift, two in fact.

-The mood wasn't as anxious as you're imagining, it was more leaning to romantic and "I couldn't spend a day without you" type of mood, I didn't go out of my way and started the conversation like "I HAD A THOUGHT ABOUT US BREAKING UP", it was more like a conversation dragging a conversation till we ended up discussing this topic.

I do admit that I shouldn't have brought it up but I tend to be open with her and it just happens that I didn't think about the consequences of my words, thankfully there were no severe consequences but I'll definitely be more careful next time. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with me, Reddit!
