AITA for snapping at the waitress that everyone is affected in this pandemic, not just her?

ESH— My boyfriend opened a bar TWO WEEKS before the pandemic shut us down. They have since changed operations around and are now basically running their place in a similar fashion that sounds like the restaurant OP described. My boyfriend, a bartender and part owner is now a counter server. Yes, tips are now a standard for to-go and delivery. Yes, they have jumped to 18-20-25% BUT it’s only because they are pooling their tips with EVERYONE. Even the servers they cannot keep on the schedule Bc they don’t have enough hours to give them. Things are really hard, and top that with having the play ‘mask police’ all day. It’s mentally draining to work in a restaurant right now. The girl was an AH because she approached the situation COMPLETELY wrong and in an unprofessional and inappropriate manner. If I was her manager and if I had witnessed that interaction I would have written her up for that. YTA because you just sound like you are a bad tipper in the first place. Please try and be more emphatic when you go out. The server does not take home 100% of their tip (this is a pre pandemic situation) they take your tip and a percentage goes to the bus boy, food runner, and the bartender. The support staff ALWAYS gets this from the server, no matter what. It’s calculated with your sales at the end of the night and taken from your tips. So if you severely under tip, or worse, leave $0. That essentially means the server is taking from their own pocket to pay their support staff . All because you had a grudge about something and had to leave $0. I hope that clears a few things up for you.
