AITA for taking what I believed to be a bullying issue to HR about a girl I went to high school with?

Saying someone was quiet and shy in high school and that they’re so different now isn’t going to “turn” anyones opinions on that person. Especially when it’s been a decade since they were in high school. At most, the coworkers are going to end up wondering why this person is bringing it up so much.. They’re not going to look at OP differently just because someone thinks she was shy as a child.

She should have stopped as soon as OP told her to. But everyone here acting like this is “trying to turn their opinions” or “forcing her down the social ladder” is massively overreacting. Literally no one gives a shit if you were introverted or not when you were a kid.
