AITA for telling my Step-Brother's Wife That She's Likely The Reason Her Son Is Behind?

ESH.

My parents didn't read to me, I remember my mom was actually shocked during parent's night my 1st grade teacher told her not only could I read, it was obvious I was far ahead of peers. I don't remember if we were already tested or if it happened soon after, but I was at a 6th grade level in 1st, after literally never being read to. It just clicked, I really don't know how else to explain it.

The parents probably figured going to school would be enough for him, and if he's 7 years old now he was probably in 1st grade during 2020, which would definitely be difficult to learn anything at that age through online schooling.

You suck for basically reveling in their misery and they suck for expecting the school to do everything for their child.
