AITA for telling my niece the World doesn't revolve around her?

I understand. I have a one in my family as well, and I know a little princess pushing buttons and the entitlement. (For instance she found a kitten, had entire family behind her keeping it and it being her cat, but at my home and my dime. I gave an ultimatum we will happily home the cat, but she will be our cat or ahe has to rehome her. She chose to rehome her.) So trust me, I get it. Thank you for being honest with yourself that response was not your proudest moment. Prep, that tool box because those learning moments can be beneficial to her. It has been a few years since the kitten, and despite having the world on a platter, isn't a lost cause. This isn't a pretty lesson, but you got this.
