AITA for thinking that my friends brother should pay for his ticket to the cinema?

First thing is that it's not like he was a little brother joining his big bro and his friends for a movie. We regularly play online games with him, sometimes we chat stupid stuff, he often comes to the gym with us, he is no little kid stranger (he is turning 17 this year).

Second I got lost with your example. If we are 3 people, and we use one 2 for 1, and 1 normal price ticket, then we would still add the cost of what the 3 tickets ended up costing (the price of 2 tickets) and divide it by 3. In that case there isn't anyone that doesn't pay because he is using the extra ticket from the 2 tickets for the price of 1.

And third it wasn't a benefit from his brother. Because if it was, then that benefit should have been his brother paying for one of the 2x1, and me and the other friend paying half and half of our 2x1 combo. If each 2x1 costed $10, Pedro and I would pay $5 each, and Ben would pay $10, because he would pay the $5 of his brother.
