AITA for turning the sprinklers on annoying tourists?

No it isn't. God damn the more I use reddit the more I realize you guys have no idea what you are talking about -

In Canada you can legally photograph almost anything, even someone inside their private dwelling, as long as you can get said photo from public property.

The exceptions to the rule are:

  • if the subject feels you are harassing them

  • if the subject is a child it gets dicey. You can but if you take photos of kids in a park or of kids in school police will make you stop and question your purpose with the materials.

You need someone's consent taking a photo in any private space where the subject has a reasonable expectation of privacy.
