AITA for walking out of my sister's wedding as an organist because she told me last minute that she didn't have any vegan options?

Yeah I mean, I hear you. The fact that his parents screamed at him shows there is verbal abuse at the least. Chances are, if that's how they parent, they likely also verbally abused the sister. My brother and I were verbally abused. So check it out, this is why we need more info. My brother could come on here and tell a story about me where he says I was mean to him growing up-- which is true, sometimes I was-- our parents were dicks and not a good model of human beings lol. He might also tell a story where I was rude and inconsiderate to him, right? So you've now got the same situation-- you've gotten the impression that we were verbally abused, our parents were dicks, and I was mean and inconsiderate to him. But if you assumed my parents favored me or that I participated in abusing my brother, you'd be wrong. Siblings in abusive families don't get along sometimes, just like in other families, and it isn't always abuse or stemming from abuse. My brother and I thankfully have a better relationship than OP and his sister, but he could definitely come onto Reddit and post about me while all pissed off, and make me sound like an absolute terror.
