AITA if I let my manager know I'm not learning anything at my internship?!

No you won't be an asshole BUT please read what Im going to write.

Ive worked for a couple large corporations. What you're experiencing right now is typical corporate. I've worked as an accountant and now a project coordinator. It's same environemnt practically. I work maybe 20 hours a week and dick around on the internet the rest. In fact Im writing this while at work.

You have an internship at a fortune 200 which is fantastic! Its going to stand out on your resume when you graduate. The whole point of an internship is to have something to talk about during interviews and put yourself ahead of others.

I know you're motivated and want to learn, but my advice is to just deal with this the rest of the summer. Its not that long. When its all done you'll have a reference and something on your resume that isn't just a crappy part time job.

During your career you will have incompetent managers. Companies will have dumb procedures and rules that are inefficient. What you're going through isn't out of the ordinary. Dont say anything to your manager. This job isnt forever. Keep your head down and do the tasks your assigned. You can get through it.
