AITA refusing to share a family recipe with my wife

NTA. Or maybe that means I’m an asshole too (as well as my family) because secret recipes are our family heirlooms. For a long time, recipes were the only things parents could pass down to their children because folks were that poor. Times have changed, but i still abide by them. My dad didn’t even know the name of what my great mom cooked until I stumbled across a variation years ago. still remember some coworkers asking for the recipe to this one dish I make. The thing was published in a book and I still didn’t want to share it. I did eventually, but It took awhile. Yes, I know that’s ridiculous. Anyway I don’t know that this would help you, but I just wanted to say NTA.
