Alabama coach Nick Saban says college football 'megaconferences' likely 'here to stay'

And then one of the top programs in a sub conference will get an OOC game (or a runner up post season game for those who don’t make the playoffs) against a top dog in one of the superconferences and will get win against them, legitimizing both that program and the “sub” conference

It will be more rare for the smaller programs which sucks for people like me who already follow a G5 program, and I doubt we ever get back to the league of 130 teams (even though you could argue the ~65 P5 programs are already a super league) but the idea that only 2 conferences of only 24 teams at most are relevant feels short sighted.

Or we will get a true breakaway that leaves everybody in the dust, and club football runs all
