In Alabama, where a girl can no longer get an abortion due to rape, the state PROTECTS rapists parental rights.

Let me put my "ridiculous" hat here for a moment.

But let's frame it for them in a way where they maybe could get on board. Let's say that a woman gets a man to have sex with her. I won't bore you with the details, but let's say said man consents on the condition that a condom is used.

But this "dirty, sinful, and nasty" woman has a nefarious plan. So she sabotages the condom with a needle. This is now rape, as the conditions of consent have been violated. She knows she's highly likely to get pregnant, and she does. Knowing the situation has no outcome but the birth of a child that she wants, so that she can extort child support money from the poor man-victim who never had a choice.

Maybe "he should have kept it in his pants." if he wanted to avoid this situation. Maybe if he hadn't dressed like he wanted to have sex with a woman this may never have happened.

Is it fair for him to have to pay child support?

But who am I kidding, this situation would be taken care of in short order if it became common.
