Alarm as Trump pledges to ax foreign aid

I can admit when I'm wrong, but at this point you're just being a dick about it to a stranger.

When I replied earlier it was late at night. I'm not hosting a pity party but I replied to you without much focus or thought put into what I was writing.

Social issues matter. Yes. But to the whole world? I'd like to see where you could evidence that. Because even in the example you gave of global concern, your example was rooted in a financial / economic concern.

Per the example you did provide, you're talking humanitarian concerns. The world's interest comes from protecting itself from trouble in the States. I admit I am wrong to say the world is totally uninterested. However, that does not imply that the world genuinely cares for social issues' impact within the States on our people.

As for "somehow, I doubt you even know why..." I don't pretend to be an economics professor. It's only common sense that when you spend more than you earn, you're going to have problems.

The US incurs a real nasty deficit and debt. At the rate we're going, we're not even capable of paying our debt's interest rates. I don't have much formal education in economics, so as to how that relates to the faith in the US dollar, I could only imagine that printing money we don't actually have leads to inflation.

Come on, don't be so condescending. I'm not a dumb ass. Wrong and inaccurate? Yeah, sure. But I encourage you to enlighten me if you think I'm so far gone instead of attacking my intellect.
