Albert Einstein once said "If you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid." What was your moment when someone judged you like that?

In first grade I moved to new place and was one of the only kids in the whole school with an immagrant father. Without telling my parents the school put me in english as a second language class by myself eventhough english wasnt my second language. It was very hard to make friends, being in a new town while being shy and going to esl classes and I was teased. When my mother saw my report card and saw I failed reading comprehension and she asked what was going on and I told her. My mother went to the school with me and confronted the teacher and principal and they're response was that I couldn't read in front of the class and that I spoke with a heavy accent. My mother told the teacher that english is not his second language and that I was imitating my father's accent. My mother then told me to read aloud in front of the teacher and principal and I did it flawlessly with no accent. They where shocked and it was one of the coolest moments of my life to see they're faces.
