Alcohol is overrated

I agree. My ENTIRE family is obsessed with alcohol and always has to have it especially when going out to dinners, parties, or gatherings. I have many cousins that ruin many parties just from getting hammered and getting verbally nasty towards the end of these family parties. I made the decision to quit drinking alcohol in public a few years ago and it's been the BEST decision I've made. I only find myself drinking alcohol when I am at home and taking a load off, so I'll typically sip on an IPA or two through the night while gaming. But yea, drinking alcohol in public was always miserable to me because I'd get a headache, dehydrated, bloated, and just plain miserable when trying to converse with people. Also, I recently invited one of my old best friends over to toke it up at my place and chill, but he decided to take over once we were at my place to go out to the bars, get drunk, pick up chicks, and essentially insinuated that we rape them in different rooms. That was the last time I spoke to him and ever will. Alcohol has done so much damage to people I know, that I do my very best to avoid it, especially in public. Don't get me wrong, I like a little buzz from time to time, but leave me alone when doing so please.
