I don’t understand what you mean by “Tinder matches you based on time of activity”??

If I swipe right on a woman at 8am Tuesday doesn’t my profile automatically get put into her deck the next time she uses the app no matter what time or day that is?

I know they send those notifications saying that people around you are swiping right now and that the peak times are early evening… But I am thinking that just means that there’s a higher probability that you can chat right now if you both match since you’re both on the app at the same time.

But you’re saying that the matching and the algorithm works differently depending on what time you’re both on?

Is this speculation or do you know this for a fact?
