Alien Gear ShapeShift Holster for a Glock 19?

I've used the Alien Gear Cloak Tuck 3.0 (IWB), and the ShapeShift in IWB configuration. I've also used the StealthGear Ventcore IWB.

I carry IWB at about 3:00 to 4:00, and I normally wear a long sleeve dress shirt, tucked around the gun.

Of the three I like the ShapeShift best, and the Tuck 2nd best.

I do actually use the modular feature, because I normally carry a Glock 19, but I print a bit if I'm sitting or bending. I don't normally give a rip if I print. There are some places that I feel it's better to be more discrete, and for that I carry a Glock 43 -- So I have just the G43 shell, and it's a quick swap-out, while still using my well broken in holster part. Makes it hard for even ME to notice, it's so thin.

I find it to be much more comfortable than the StealthGear and a noticeable bit more comfortable than the Tuck. I don't have any trouble doing administrative unload/reload for downrange shooting, and it's easy to adjust to make it secure in the holster.

It's not QUITE as tuckable as the Cloak Tuck or the StealthGear, but it works, and stays tucked. I do find myself doing the Picard Maneuver more often after sitting, though.

One problem I've had with the Tuck and the StealthGear is that all of the various screws holding in the clips and retention gaskets come loose over time. One time I went more than a week without re-tightening them, and the belt clip fell off, and my gun was hanging down my pant leg on the remaining (also loose) clip. The ShapeShift does not have ANY screws for these kinds of functions, so you don't ever have to worry about it with that holster! (This was really the clincher for me.

Having said all of that, as most of us have discovered, holsters are picky things, and what works well for one person does not work as well for others.
