'All the beds are taken up by Covid victims': Hospitals in the South are running out of space or staff

I think you're much more upset about this than you should be, and I gather you're probably the kind of person who gets much more upset about a lot of things than they should. I very much hope this is not how all Hawaiians are when someone asks about a Hawaiian word, and I suspect it's not. I think I just had the misfortune of interacting with the one person who isn't civil. I'll keep an eye out for you next time so we don't have to interact.

Look, I was reading your post and agreeing with what you wrote but the word stopped me briefly so I thought I'd ask. The onus is on you of course to explain your special word when you drop it in conversation, just like the onus would be on me to explain if I dropped an uncommon French or German word in conversation. This doesn't require peer-reviewed sources. As a Hawaiian, *you're* the authoritative source. If you lie, fine, it's not important and just makes you look like an asshole.

Am I being lazy? Sure I am, but at least I'm not being a dick about something like the definition of a word. I think I'd rather be lazy.

Anyway, I no longer care about your special word, so I hope you have a better night than you are clearly having atm.
