Why do all the car reviewers seem to love the Alfa Romeo Giulia, but this sub seems to hate it?

Though I do agree with you on forum findings blowing up, or electrical gremlins not being uncommon in other high performance luxury sedans, there are reservations to be made about the Giulia’s long term reliability for potential owners. A less than one year 10K mileage review might suffice for those leasing for a few years under warranty, though it’s not the greatest example for future buyers.

My personal caution is the fact that Alfa/FCA spent only 2 and half years developing the Giulia on a completely new platform, versus a 6-7 year development time for everyone else. Throwing regional personal biases out the window like “Italians are unreliable”, a new car being pitted against much more proven vehicles with much more development time and historical benchmarks will always raise concerns.
