The other extreme is people white knighting on Twitter, feigning moral righteousness while condemning anyone they deem steps out of line with their idealistic world view. People that read way into things, who are looking for implied racism, sexism, ableism, transphobia, or xenophobia where it doesn’t exist and who project their trauma onto others while patting each other on the back that they’re doing the world a justice by bullying people out of communities and deplatforming anyone they percieve as a bad person - while ignoring actual bad actors entirely. They go after Smo Joe because he said a word that rhymes with “we farted” in 2009 and call his employer to tell them what a terrible person he is.

I’m pretty fucking left, but I’m honestly sick of these people pretending to give a shit when all they want to do is feed their damn egos and pretend they’re fighting the good fight.
