All Democrats must prepare to support Bernie Sanders

Basically yes.

Modernity is responsible for most of the psychological issues we see manifesting themselves in our society today.

Technology keeps making our lives easier but ultimately less fulfilling.

Our reliance on the government is in direct contrast to self-reliance, and individual liberty and personal freedom. Of course this is the case, in such a global, interconnected world. The left does indeed hit somewhere close to the truth when they say that the “pulling yourself up by your bootstraps” days are largely bygone, but they are hopelessly far away from the solution to the problem. They incorrectly take a mainstream value, like caring for the poor, and believe that a failure to live up that ideal is the source of our strife.

Compound this with the insane notion that the federal government can somehow cure the malaise of modern life with more social welfare programs, and you end up with a demographic of people who somehow believe they are rebels for trying to increase the power and reach of the very system oppressing them.

That’s why when given the opportunity to choose between a candidate who wants to rob me of more of my productivity and taxes so that they can increase the oversight the government and society has on my daily life, and a terrible candidate who will gridlock the system, I choose gridlock.

That’s actually why Bernie somewhat appeals to me. He obviously has no hope of accomplishing most of his agenda, has never really accomplished anything of substance, and appeals to his base mostly on rhetoric alone. Sounds like a pretty good recipe for gridlock to me. He might have my vote after all.
