I think that Otherkin is a perfect example of why you're wrong here. You associate Otherkin with perhaps the left, or liberals, or millenials, or the Reddit userbase, honestly it doesn't matter. You have been tricked into believing that an incredibly small group of crazies represents a massive demographic. It doesn't. I can practically guarantee that 9999/10000 people on this website don't believe that Otherkin are actually a real thing. You see the same kinds of arguments against transgender people. People attempt to delegitimize them and those that support them by pointing out that they ruin women's sports or some other BS. The vast majority of trans-rights advocates don't believe that biological males should be allowed to participate in women's sports. We just think that trans individuals should be allowed compassion, rights, and the pursuit of happiness so long as they don't infringe on anyone else's.
