I think it's morally repugnant for nurses to blame the government and point to not getting 2% annual pay increase as a reason to abandon their co-workers and patients who are drowning in their own fluids. Nurses have the skills and training to save people yet are throwing up hands because, by your narrative, they aren't being paid enough.
