Like I said, not a fan. I played a lil bit of it, got bored, and then just watched it like a movie on youtube. It was probably ok for people during the time, but it was just meh to me. I tried watching part 2 on youtube and they played the revenge bait card to make you hate someone and then she became the main protagonist for a bit. You're supposed to see that vengeance is bad, but all it did was make you angry that Ellie didn't murder what's her face at the end. The difference between Joel and Ellie and that side character is that they killed to survive and were being actively hunted all throughout part 1 and in part 2 the revenge storyline didn't hold water because the new character was actually a full on psychopath all throughout the game. It wanted you to sympathize with her while also showing how disgusting she was.
