Um Betty had nothing to do with Jughead's not wanting to go to Toledo nor does she have any power over who her mother sleeps with so I don't see the point of the show going there. The reason Jug didn't go to Toledo at Christmas was because Gladys straight up said she didn't want him(he and Betty weren't even together then). Yeah I know there's probably an explanation(and I do actually like Gladys) but Gladys and FP both made horrible choices that tore their family apart.

Don't get me wrong, I don't like Falice either and I certainly don't see it as a healthy relationship but personally I hope Betty and JB get along...though I guess I could see a misinformed JB disliking Betty at first.
