All inclusive Mexico resort- words of wisdom?

Breakfast will be easy as you'll have eggs, sausage and bacon as well as salami, cheese and lunchmeat (generally) at a buffet in Mexico.

Lunch - you have ceviche! It's wonderful. Tell them no chips and get a couple to hold you over. You can also do fajitas without the tortilla, cheeseburger without the bun, etc.

Dinner can be more challenging depending on where you go. You'll be able to find steak arracherra (sp?) (skirt steak) and guacamole. You should find fish as well. Sometimes they'll have meat dishes.

Just do a couple things - try to maintain some sort of positive habits at a minimum so you don't hate yourself when you come back. For example, workout every morning. Have a perfect breakfast and lunch. If you skimp and cheat a bit on dinner, then you just pay for it at the gym the next morning.

ALSO - avoid the sugary drinks. They'll have frozen and brightly colored drinks that have more sugar than Kool-aid. They're happy to share these as they're filled with cheap booze rather than better booze. Sure they're delicious, but they usually send me into an eating frenzy as my body isn't used to mainlining sugar and booze. If you drink, try to stick to something reasonable. Possibly a good margarita with salt. Diet coke with lime at the pool is a great filler instead of taking down drinks as well.

Enjoy Mexico! It's beautiful. The people are wonderful.
