Not like trying to shill the SA because I have worked for them which in my opinion there is still some fundamental things they do that I disagreed with...

But I do know a lot of genuine good people who worked and volunteered there, I had a job in college at the SA Rec center and coached basketball there. They take child safety ( at least in the US) to the extreme, like there are so many things you cant do. Even as a basketball coach like you weren't allowed to give a kid a ride home etc which coming from little league was kinda surprising. But it was nice to see how much they are trying t protect the kids ( and themselves, but you'd be amazed how many predators use the guise of volunteering as their cover)

I know some of the older SA people who " dont understand the gays but not my place to judge" which is refreshing because they as a international non profit for sure have places that dont share this, but a lot of them do try to help their community.

I know our local one just did a toy drive with like 15,000 toys and helped a ton of familys get toys for christmas at 0 cost, it was pretty cool.
